The Chemical Free Cosmetics Pledge

Its important to keep our product healthy and fair trade. This pledge that I am taking is a promise to keep my skin and body free of unnatural products and cosmetics doe one whole month.

The Rules
No chemicals in your cosmetics
Only natural cosmetics and products
This does not include Nail Polish or Clothing
However this does include perfumes
I will be posting about my learning until July first when my pledge ends

Why chemical free?

recently I have been informed of dangers of chemical products in my makeup. I know before I begin you must know that I am NOT vegan. on Jupiter is very important to consume all the food groups. This means I cannot be vegan or vegetarian but I can make a difference for what I use on my skin and body. chemicals like alcohol and formaldehyde only make your skin worse. when you're a teenage girl there is a lot of pressure to have no pimples and perfect skin. Many girls will go to great lengths to achieve this look. And that sometimes it can be that you will use anything to get your skin to look normal. is for a minute and think of the many weird things that go on to our skin every day and in the end poison our bodies and our children. I know this is scary and a lot to take in so let's just pause and think about what we can do to change the makeup for you. Free makeup is everything everywhere these days because many people have realized the dangers of chemicals and make up. a good rule of thumb is if you can't pronounce it and there is no parenthesized other meaning for it then it shouldn't go on your face. some great brands that you can use are Pacifica and Zoya. also try 100 percent pure and restored naturally. there should be plenty of local vendors and plenty of ways that you can make your own free cosmetic and let me know about it by emailing me at missjupitertj@gmail.com

Q:  There are many brands and many shades of nail polish, I am looking forward ton getting my hands on a couple new bottle of the stuff for summer (most of my money is going towards a travel opportunity but I manage) there's so much selection that I don't know which brands to choose so I'm going to let you help me! What polishes should I buy?

Essie and Sally Hansen are great brands
I prefere drugstore nail polishes.
Tan and white are my favorite nail colors
I don't need top coat or base coat
The polish is for my toes

My Message To Bullies

 School is rough. Life is tough. Sometime I feel like I'm from another planet or something.

In the last couple of years at school I have fallen victim to bullying. Not the 'shove-you-in-the-trash-can' kind of bullying, but the 'leave-her-alone-she-is-a-smart-boy-stealer' kind of bullying.

Friends didn't come easy and the ones that did were hard to see. I can open up my yearbook and see all the people who care about me. But they are all invisible through the hurricane. One person can screw up a whole day, a whole week, and often, a whole year. It's not fair.

My bullies played keep away with my stuff and shut my locker on my head. They yelled at me for being a nerd and told , me that nobody cared. Nobody cared enough to let me sit under rain shelter during a storm (litteraly) they laughed at how wet I was and how my mascara was smeared. But people do care. My family cares. My little cousins, brothers,and my sister who is really just my cousin. They all care. My teachers, my friends. It took one woman to show me that. Breland. The all for one you tuber that runs Glitterforever17 and Bedazzled on YouTube. She told me that she cared about me and my story so this is it.

My message to bullies: get a life and get some help. I feel no sympathy anymore.

Old Navy Memorial Day Haul

This is my first haul and I am a little nervous. It took lots of thought on how to do this post obviously because I can't just make a video like all you amazing youtube posters.

Reviews:
I am super self conscious when it comes to bikinis. I have broader shoulders than humans do and my belly button in in a square shape. This is literally a shirt made out of swimsuit material and I think that it really looks fun and throwback. I will wear it with my Harijuko Mini Swim Bottoms from Op.

The pants are so comfy. They are loose and breathable but also really trendy. I will probably wear these pants a lot this summer.

The Scientific Florist

This post will teach you how to make true 80's style flowers to put in any natural boquet and make OUTRAGEOUS!!!

Materials
White long stemmed flowers
Food coloring
Water
Vase


Fill the vase with water and add six to ten drops of color depending on how darkbtou want the color to appear on the petals

Add the flowers

Let sit for one to three nights and the white petals will become colored.

Add to a bouquet in clean water... Tada

'Diamond in the Flesh' Smoothie

Ingredients
One cup of cantelope
Two bananas
Tonic water
Seven strawberries
Three handfuls of Lettuce mix


Add all ingredients into blender with tonic water up to the top of the fruit

Blend

Tadaaaa

Salad Bag

This is a very effeciant way to pack a healthy lunch.

Ingredients
Iceburg Lettuce
Spinach
Bell pepper
Apple
Peanuts
Brazil Nuts
Dressing of your choice.

Add ingredients to a freezer bag and shake to toss up the salad. Put a fork in the bag and close. Then you can stick it in your backpack with your beverage of choice (I like Pepsi or Bottled water with cucumber or lime)

Easy DIY Face Scrub

This face scrub is cheap and effective... I use it every night and it works like heaven. It only takes two ingredients and its instant

Shaving cream (yes like your dad uses)
Salt

Place a large dollop of shaving cream in hand and mix with one tablespoon of salt.

Rub and scrub onto face

Wash off

'Friends With the Monster' Smoothie

I have decided to start a series on my blog!!! Its called Poppin' Tags Smoothies In Minutes.

My first smoothie is SO GOOD and all healthy. You can't even taste the veggies.

Ingredients
Two cups of frozen blackberries
Sparkling H2O
Tap Water
Two Bananas
Three Handfuls of spinach and lettuce mix


Add all fruit and greens
Fill half way to the top of fruit and greens with sparkling water and half with tap

DIY Fragrance Lotion (in your favorite scent)

Do you ever cringe at the high prices of lotion that matches your perfume scent? Are you allergic to most fragranced lotions? Looking for a change? This is my go to recipe for lotion and I make it to match my favorite perfumes and body mists. Its hard to not be able to buy your favorite scent in every shape and form. So instead. Let's just make it.

Ingredients
Coconut Oil
Shea Butter
Hypoallergenic unscented lotion
Your favorite perfume or body mist

Steps
1- Add two tablespoons of coconut oil, three tablespoons of Shea butter and four tablespoons of lotion to a small mason jar
2-place the jar in a pot of simmering water and steer constantly as it melts
3-pour mixture into an altoids tin or other small container
4-stir constantly as you spray in 10-20 sprays of your scent to fragrance the lotion
5- place in freezer for 20 minutes

Make a Charm Bracelet

My best friends terrestrial fourteenth is coming up and since she is my BEST FRIEND I wanted to make her the perfect present. What is more perfect than a charm bracelet? Here is how to make the best present for your best friend.

Material:
4-5 bottle caps
5-6 beads in your best gals favorite color
4-5 pieces of paper cut out to fit inside the caps
Charms to put in the bottle caps
Modge Podge
Thin Silver Wire
Charm tops to turn the caps into charms
A large button in your friends initial

How To
1- First drill holes in the tops of your bottle caps and glue in your charm tops.
2-Then glue in the paper to cover the charm top and decorate the caps as much as you like
3- Cover the paper and charms with Modge Podge to seal
4-string your charms onto the wire along with the beads and the button in the center.

April Favorites 2014

Can you believe its May already?? I can't. But, oh, we must because the days are getting longer and hotter and the school year is almost over (13 school days for me) and all the children of the USA will soon be released to reek havock upon the world... JK.
Here are my April favorites... Enjoy enjoy!!

Cosmetic:
I absolutely fell in love with the BATH AND BODY WORKS WHITE CITRUS BODY LOTION... My mother hates it to no end but aside from velvet sugar white citrus is my favorite bath and body works scent!  The lotion works really well on my sensitive skin. It even works on my face.

The Rue 21 Beute' eyeshadow pallette has been AMAZING I use it almost every day.

Another eye shadow is the Flirt eye shadow in violet... Its FABULOUS!!!

Covergirl's white eye pencil is a personal favorite.

Other:

Birkenstock mickey mouse sandals... They let my feet breath but still provide an appropriate amount of ankle support.

Chobani key lime Greek yogurt. Yummmmmm

May Bedroom Updates

Every so often I find it high time to update my bedroom and the many features of it. Your room not only reflects your style and personal flare... Your bedroom is a backdrop for your life. In order to keep your bedroom top notch (galexy wide) follow these five general tips and watch your living space come to life. On Jupiter we like to say"Simplify before you accesorize!!!

1. No matter where you are in the galaxy, its getting to be a little bit hotter come may... Or at least a little more something. Am I right? So ditch that conferter () they can get hot and itchy) and replace it with a fun patterned sheet or thin blanket to provide wind cover but not extra heat.

2. Pile up the pillows. In order to be truly comfy you must be surrounded with a halo of plush animals and pillows!!!!!

3. Organize those cosmetics that we all know you have tucked away or stuffed away underneth that pile of books you have been meaning to clean up. Put them in a basket between your walls (lol)or under theyour desk where those books used to be.

4. Make your walls feel loved with pictures and posters or light up stars.. Those really make me feel at home. :-)

5. Nohing beats a vase of fress flowers in the springtime!!!!
